Tenacity and Consistency – Key to Business Success

Tenacity and Consistency are the keys to business success.

When things go wrong in your business, do you feel like just chucking it in and giving up?

That’s what most people will do and that’s why most new businesses fail in the first two years. That goes for both brick and mortar business and online business.

The ways are littered with the corpses of failed businesses which is really a tragedy.

It’s a tragedy because many of them could be redeemed and eventually succeed with a little tenacity and consistency and maybe a tweak or two.

A while back I interviewed a local business owner who has a grocery store. She is a fourth generation owner of this business and is of Japanese descent.

There was a lot of racial discrimination in the early 1900’s when the story began. Then during WWII they were forced from their homes and forced to abandon their businesses and were sent to Japanese internment camps for several years. But they persisted and this year marks the 100th anniversary of their store. They prove that tenacity and consistency are key to business success.

You need to listen to this inspiring interview with Katherine Tatsuda.
