Daily Mantra

Daily Mantra

I was inspired this morning by something I saw on social media. Someone had posted a short video of a Dad helping his son repeat a daily mantra on his way to school. The boy was really fired up by the time he was finished. It was so powerful and touching that I thought a daily mantra was just what I needed too. I recorded a podcast with the mantra so I can keep it on my phone to play whenever I need a pick-me-up and to get me started with my day.

I hope you’ll use my mantra or better yet make one of your own with the things you think are important.

As you make your own mantra, there are some great words to add to it like “graciousness,” “love,” “family,” “blessings,” “worth,” “happiness,” “joy.”

Think happy thoughts as you write your mantra.

Avoid any negative words or phrases. Don’t use words like “no”, “don’t”, “not”. Your words should reflect positive action.

Allow yourself to release things you cannot control.

Focus on your blessings and joys.

Include ways you can be a blessing to others.

You may be going through the worst time of your life right now but there is always something positive you can focus on. Focus on that and expand it until your positive focus is bigger than your problems.
