If you are a person who balks at “to-do” lists because they make you feel encumbered, you’re not alone.
There are thousands of “free-spirit” people who think that making a list of things to do or even making a grocery list is restricting or maybe they just don’t think to do it.
You’ve all seen those organized types of people in the grocery store with their neatly hand-written shopping lists and file pouches with coupons organized in them.
Then before they leave the checkout counter, they check the receipt to make sure each item was charged according to the sale flyer in the newspaper.
It drives me nuts to be behind those people.
I just want to buy the stuff I came in for and the dozen or so other things I picked up that I hadn’t planned on and get out and enjoy the things I hadn’t planned to do.
Yes, I KNOW to-do lists are a good idea and that you can be way more efficient by doing them.
I keep trying.
But I just wasn’t born under and organized sun. It was winter and there was probably a blizzard and white-out conditions.
So instead of making a to-do list, I’ve decided to make a not-to-do list.
Here is a list of things I’m not going to do today.
Leave a comment telling me what YOU are NOT going to do today. Let’s have some fun.
